The centennial celebration for the Berry Alumni Association got off to a rousing start during Alumni Weekend 2008, and a command performance by world-renowned tenorMichael Hendrick (89C)set the perfect tone for a party 100 years in the making.
Approximately 600 alumni and friends returned home for the three-day event, with many staying on for Alumni Work Week, June 1-6. Highlights of the weekend included the presentation of the 2008 Distinguished Alumni Awards. Recipients are pictured below withBerry President Stephen R. Briggs. They are, from left, Dr. Joe A. Elder (63C), Distinguished Achievement; Bob Huff (51C), Distinguished Service; Bob Williams (62H), Entrepreneurial Spirit; and Brian Brodrick (97C), Outstanding Young Alumnus.
